Mommy & Family Craft Fair Fall 2014- My First Fair!

I am so excited to announce that I will be selling at my first craft fair in September of this year! My shop Foxglo will have a booth. I sell handmade home decor so you can expect to see quilts, pillows, embroidery hoops, paper mache letters and more. This is a first annual event so come out and support the great people who are putting it on! The show is Saturday, September 27th from 10am - 4pm, and will be held at the Edmond Town Hall in Newtown, Connecticut.

Color Complex Website Launch

Hello! I have some exciting news to share today. My husband, Madison, launched a website recently for his graphic design company, Color Complex! He has been doing graphic design work for many years but has never had an official web page before. I am so proud of the work he put into this project. When you visit the site you will see a home page with news and updates, as well as an introduction to the artists who you are able to work with. There is also a portfolio, client list, artwork for sale, and a contact form. I am partial to Color Complex, not only because my husband is the owner, but because he did the banner for this blog! It's pretty perfect for me. Go over to the site and take a look. You can see more updates from Color Complex on their FacebookTwitter, and Instagram. If you are in need of graphic design work I high recommend contacting them, and let them know I sent you!

Once we move into our new house, I will be setting up a whole new work space that is not my dining room table. I'm excited to have my own dedicated space to create. In anticipation of this I have been hunting for art as I plan on creating a gallery wall above my new desk. I'm looking for anything that inspires me and makes for a fun work environment. I also appreciate a little humor in my art work. Nothing brightens up a day better than a clever art print. Above are a few of my favorite picks. Where have you been finding inspiring art lately?
