Now that I have your attention with that adorable baby, I have a new Etsy shop to send some love to. The image above is from Ellie Baby, a baby accessory shop I recently discovered, and am currently loving.
When Nora was still using pacifiers, we would always struggle with keeping them clean because she would use them for a little while and then spit them on the floor. I wanted to avoid that situation with baby #2 and have been looking for some cute pacifier clips so that her pacifier is always clean and within reach. Etsy is my go-to site for cute baby products, and when I found this shop, they had the perfect item for me: braided leather pacifier clips. These are considerably less bulky than your traditional fabric pacifier clip, plus they are a lot cute. I decided to order a light pink one for our new little lady, and added a tiny leather bow headband to my order as well.
How cute is this set?! I'm obsessed. The quality of the products is great, and they are just beyond adorable. I ordered the pacifier clip because it seems very useful, the fact that it is also so precious and matches this bow is a major bonus.
I reached out to the shop owner, Rachel, with a special request and she was very quick to respond and super helpful. She shipped the products out to me quickly and they arrived only 2 days after I received my shipping notification. The baby may not be here yet but I am still antsy to get all of her things put away, so fast shipping is always a plus. The packaging is super cute as well, and Rachel included a hand written note on the packing slip. Little touches like that are why I love ordering from small shops. You get a personal experience that you can't get from shopping at big box stores. I love that I can interact with the person who made the product I am going to use.
This type of pacifier clip works with any pacifier, as long as it has a hole for the end to loop through. Nora was particular to the Philips Avent pacifiers, so I picked up a few for the new baby. Hopefully she likes them too! The bow is on a headband made of very soft and stretchy nylon. There is also an option to have it attached to an alligator clip, which is perfect for older girls.
The headbands obviously look super cute on. I'm planning on using the one I got in some of our newborn photos. I think it'll be the perfect accessory to add some personality without being overwhelming.
If you're in the market for cute baby accessories, go check out Ellie Baby on Etsy. I'm so pleased with my experience and can't wait to order again. I have my eye on the gold leather bow headband next. Let me know what your favorite item is!

Shop Love: Trending
When my friend Beverly told me she was opening her own online clothing store, I was so excited. We went to college together and since I have seen her work first hand, you can believe me when I say: it's good stuff. Her goal was to create a store that provided a selection of one of a kind, high quality statement pieces, for a lower price. Trending is just that: on trend. The online boutique specializes in thrifted and reconstructed apparel, as well as handmade clothing and accessories. The items you will find are standout staple pieces that are perfect for today's modern young women. I love the concept, particularly the reconstructed goods. With just a little alteration, something that seems old and dated becomes fashionable and trendy again. It's perfect! Beverly has a great eye for what is on trend right now, a lot of these pieces have a very 90's feel, which is making a huge comeback right now. For all of us that grew up in the 90's it's awesome to see! I can finally break out my over-sized shirts and chunky heels again, right? Ok, maybe not the heels.
I think the most inspiring part of this store launch is that Beverly used it as a way to pull herself out of what could have been a very devastating situation. She was working for a law firm at the time that was going under, which gave her all the more motivation to make her dream a reality. She is now working on Trending full time and loving it.
If you have ever scoured the racks of a thrift store, then you will know how frustrating it is to dig through the duds and end up with nothing to bring home. As a busy mom, blogger and small business owner I really don't have time for that so I am happy to let someone do it for me. In Beverly's own words:
"I figured I can take the work out of sifting through rack after rack of stained tee shirts and sweaters with holes in them to find the treasures that most people don't know exist. Not only that, but people all over the country don't have access to the thrift stores in Massachusetts and I think these stores have a lot of high end items that you won't find elsewhere."
Since she has a partial education in Fashion Design, Beverly will also be creating handmade goods for her store. Currently she is offering headbands, but intends to include more items like bandeaus and crop tops very soon.
I hope you are all as excited as I am about this new shop launch! And because she is so great, Beverly has generously offered all Hello Kelcey readers 30% off everything at Trending with the code "hellokelcey" until July 31st, as well as free shipping on all orders over $20 (no code, and that does not expire!).
Take a look around http://shoptrendingg.com/ and let me know which items are your favorite. You can also find Trending on Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr to keep up to date on new items and promotions. Happy shopping!

Color Complex Website Launch
Hello! I have some exciting news to share today. My husband, Madison, launched a website recently for his graphic design company, Color Complex! He has been doing graphic design work for many years but has never had an official web page before. I am so proud of the work he put into this project. When you visit the site you will see a home page with news and updates, as well as an introduction to the artists who you are able to work with. There is also a portfolio, client list, artwork for sale, and a contact form. I am partial to Color Complex, not only because my husband is the owner, but because he did the banner for this blog! It's pretty perfect for me. Go over to the site and take a look. You can see more updates from Color Complex on their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you are in need of graphic design work I high recommend contacting them, and let them know I sent you!

Shop Love: Fladderdoodle
Hi there! Today I wanted to share some more Shop Love with you. I have been a huge fan of Kate Gabrielle for a while. She has a great blog and a wonderful personality. Plus I'm kind of jealous of her ever changing hair colors. She has two shops that I love, Sweet and Lovely which sells art and handmade goods, and Flapperdoodle, a shop that sells 1920's art and stationary. I just recently made my first purchase from Flapperdoodle and I was so excited I had to share it with you.
I've had this print saved in my Etsy favorites for a while, so I decided to go ahead and order it recently. I love the style of all of the Flapperdoodle prints, the 1920's style is really charming and the fact that everything is in black and white really appeals to my personal taste. I picked this print in particular because I have a passion for tattoos and the fact that this girl has a tattoo that says "Just Ducky" was just too cute to pass up.
Since I was one of the orders that got the shop to 10,000 orders (congrats Kate!), these extra bits were added to my order, how nice is that? I love the pendant and can't wait to find the perfect chain to wear it with. Also, a mini paper doll set? What's cuter than that?
I'm really pleased with this order and hope to make another soon. A few more items on my wish list are this print, this print, these earrings, as well as this sweater clip from Sweet and Lovely because it's probably the cutest thing I've ever seen (besides Nora).

Shop Love: Stash Modern Fabrics
As you may or may not know, I am a huge fabric lover. It started when I was young and used to raid my mother's fabric stash for scraps to make Barbie clothes and mini blankets. My collection is ever growing and one of my favorite things is finding a great new fabric store. Because of my Etsy shop, I am frequently browsing that site. Recently, I discovered Stash Modern Fabrics on Etsy and am so happy about it! This shop currently has over 2000 items for sale and their selection of fun and unique fabrics is incredible.
I placed my first order a couple weeks ago and it was shipped so quickly. Also, their customer service was great. I was looking for a specific print, which was listed as sold out, and they managed to track down a yard for me and set up a custom listing. How great is that?
The fabrics above are from the Asbury Collection by Thomas Knauer for Andover. Ice cream cones, boardwalk and bowling pins- how could I resist? I know I want to make something for Nora out of these but I haven't decided what that is going to be yet. If you have any suggestions for me leave them in the comments below.
I also picked up these two fabrics from the Sun Print Feathers Collection by Alison Glass. I love the bold graphic print. I am planning on incorporating these into the design of my new office so stay tuned for that. I want to bring in a lot of black, white and hot pink so these are perfect.
What shops have you been loving lately?
